I promised you some further garden images taken in the Cotswolds - since then I have been to York, but that is for another time!
Here are some I took in a few famous gardens -
A sheltered sunken part of the garden at Kiftsgate |
A recent modern garden at Kiftsgate |
A pretty vista at Hidcote |
It was rather difficult taking pictures at Hidcote as there were lots of visitors getting in the way! |
A favourite view at Snowshill - one of my favourite gardens! |
Snowshill again - just look at all the people! |
I love this view of Snowshill, but other visitors got in the picture! |
Sudley Castle - just look at that awful red sign! The rambler rose is Shropshire Lass I think? |
Sudley Castle again - outside the church where Queen Katherine Parr is buried - a white garden! |
Now something from my garden - we are in the middle of a heatwave and the flowers are not lasting, so I'm picking them! Here are some displayed in Emma Bridgewater's Hearts and Flowers patterned pots.
Hope you enjoyed? I'm off to have a shower to try to cool down, I simply hate the heat, it's just not British!

What a beautiful gardens! Thank you for sharing the pictures!
Beautiful pictures that give me garden envy! I don't have that sort of space but love to pick elements that I can adapt. I really love that white border, and the soft planting that edges the paths in Hidcote and Snowshill gardens. Thank you so much for sharing these.
we live in a truely beautiful part of the world xx esp when the sun is shining xx
These gardens are amazing. It is like stepping into a botanical Wonderland. Thank you for sharing these pictures with your readers.
